This BEAUTY is one nice driving car and is in GREAT shape 100% restored shape. It is a Fully restored, garaged DRY Idaho. This 1962 Corvette convertible roadster has a STRONG, rebuilt 1962 H/P 327 CID V8 that dynode at 386 HP in it with 4,536 miles since completely rebuilt with the correct 3782870 casting number block and it is running very well. With the new stainless steel dual exhaust, it sounds AWESOME! The engine is backed by a smooth Borg Warner T-10 four speed stick shift transmission and the Posi-traction rear end with 3.72 gears both of which function very well. The all-original red leather interior is in NEW condition, including, NICE Original red leather bucket seats, NICE original dash and nice original dash pad, NICE original gauge cluster all working including factory tachometer, nice, carpeted floors, nice Original sun visors, nice Original door panels and nice original steering wheel and nice New white convertible top and hard top. This 62 Vette is nicely equipped including, all New 4-wheel disc brakes, All new Glass, All new wiring, factory gauge package with working tack and clock, Hurst floor shifter, Stainless steel dual exhaust, chrome exterior mirror, good heater and defroster, After-market Air Conditioning (R134) and factory front seat belts. It has a new Custom Autosound stereo and comes with the Original Working AM/FM “wonderbar” radio. This Vette is a great running and wonderful looking car. I drove this Vette in town and on the freeway, It smoked the tires in 1st chirped 2nd and was at 100 MPH in no time and I wasn’t even pushing it. I can tell you it is a great running car, all up shifts and downshifts were smooth it had no problem down shifting into 2nd at 50 MPH. What a fun driver!!! This Vette runs and drives better than new, no squeaks or rattles. The shock and suspension are new and in great working order. This vehicle is solid with respect to the overall mechanical condition as well as the overall cosmetic impression. I looked underneath and it was just as nice as on top with a little dirt on the undercarriage that you would expect from minimal use. I also included 100 photos below.
