That is right, original "box A" mileage! Rare opportunity to own a real survivor. Original glass. Soft rubber/vinyl/leather items. Plastic lenses and such, nice and clear. Brake and gas pedals hardly seem used. Original floor mats look fantastic. This old school REAL Cadillac is the last of the pillarless 4 door hardtops. Last of the REAL Cadillac 500 CID engine. Last of the behemoths.
Oh yeah, I named her Cruella because she is so cruel on gas. 15 mpg cruising at 80 mph (her "in the pocket" speed). You can squeeze out 17 mpg or so at 70 mph. But really, how often would a connoisseur/collector drive this low mileage beauty anyway?  Just took an "city driving" calculation: 13.48 mpg. Not bad.
A/C converted to R-134a. Radio, AND 8-Track works! Even the electric clock shows signs of life. But it will at least need to be cleaned and lubricated to keep good time. I do NOT want to take anything apart on this car. I will leave it up to the new owner.
This was originally a New Jersey car. It also spent time in Arkansas. So, bare metal parts, hardware does have what the collector's lovingly call "patina". (some surface rust). There is no real sign it has ever spent much time outside except for the 11,000 miles of driving. But I imagine being stored in a damp garage in New Jersey allowed for some of this mild surface rust on hard metal parts, although none found on sheet metal on the underside of floorboards, or trunk etc. No sun damage, no fading, no checking of the paint.
The interior is just as stunning as the body and lacquer paint. Yeah, I have sold a few 1994-1996 Fleetwoods which are growing in popularity. And yes, the 1990-1992 Broughams (not Fleetwoods) are really catching on. I have to think this "last of the real Cadillacs" would also be very attractive to a discerning collector.
Original spare in the trunk. The original tires had a lot of tread, but really, there is NO WAY I would allow this to change hands with them. They were splitting and checked. Not really worth saving even for posterity. Brand new Hankooks are now carrying the load. The fuel pump and EGR have been replaced very recently. Oh yeah, it has passed Arizona emissions testing! Here in Arizona in the Phoenix and Tucson metro areas all cars newer than 1966 have to go through emissions testing. Your state may vary.
I think I have priced it fairly. I am sure in a few more years this car could really gain in value. I have recently bought another car to take its space in the garage, so something has to give.
My goal is to own every car, but only 2 or 3 at a time Ha ha.
Sold as is, where is. No warranty. Buyer arranges and pays for inspection, pickup or shipping. I am not a dealer so I do not have any recommendations for choosing a carrier. 00 Deposit due 24 hours after auction end. Balance is to be paid by wire transfer within 7 calendar days of auction end. I have sold several cars on Ebay through the years, each to very happy winners.
