This listing is for a wonderful early 19th Century Edinburg Scotland Sterling Silver "Toddy" ladle
with classic fiddle back design, c. 1827.
The ladle
measures 6" long with the bowl being 1 5/8" wide.
Weighs 25 grams.
The ladle is in excellent Estate condition with no noted damage or flaws and wear commensurate with age and normal use.
Has engraved armorial with stylized standing lion on classic fiddle back handle.
Marked with hallmarks for "Edinburg, Sterling", with unidentified maker's stamp "O.M." and date letter for 1827.
