    Description

    Original U.S. window card poster for the 1968 concert film/documentary "Monterey Pop", directed by D.A. Pennebaker and featuring the Mamas and the Papas, Jimi Hendrix, Otis Redding, Janis Joplin and many others. Whereas the 1 sheet posters for the film are fairly common and feature well-known artwork by Tomi Ungerer, this Window Card features totally different art by Ungerer - only found on this poster! And this is the ONLY copy of this poster we have ever seen - it's that rare!
    Poster measures 14x22 inches and is in fine condition. The poster is printed on heavy card stock and, while it had never been folded, there were some creases that have been touched up by a professional poster restorer. It now looks very nice, with great color!
