This pin is new and is on the original card and in the original packaging. I personally purchased the pin direct from the Disneystore.com on day of release. My intent was to use this pin as trader pin. However it was placed in a box and forgotten about for years.
I have been a Disney pin trader/collector for years and will be selling off my collection over the next several months, including some very rare pins.
