?This is an ORIGINAL and RARE pair of the "crossed arrows" collar brass worn by officers of the First Special Service Force, the elite Canadian/American unit of WWII, commonly called the "Forcemen" or the "Devil's Brigade". I acquired these in the late, great Manion's International Auction back on December 9, 1998. The insignia are English-made "pinbacks" and are hallmarked "Ludlow/London" and "Sterling Silver" on the arrows (see close-up images).  The insignia is in VERY GOOD condition, but have slight bends in the arrows, which could be straightened, if desired. The brass has tarnished, but could be polished to a bright finish.  Here's an opportunity for the FSSF collector or re-enactor to obtain a pair of very rare insignia for the collection or impression. The buyer will have my usual unconditional guarantee of authenticity and a five-day (

) right of inspection and return/refund privilege, excluding postage.
