    Description

Highly embossed and voluted silver Sabbath candlesticks with scrolled corners inter-spaced with rococo details. The base has five different tiers before it reaches first lobe on the shaft of the candle. Three more lobes before reaching the top. Clusters of what looks to be grapes are placed on all the corners accompanied with leaves.   Marked with a(German)zig-zag assayer's test marks on both bobeche and one of the bottom flat sections of the candle.  I could not find any other marks.  Not to say that they may be impressed on the pieces, but I just could not see any other marks.  Hollow and very light 14 oz.  The stand an impressive 12 inches tall by 6 inches wide at the base.
From a very old Jewish family in NYC.
    Note*
These are used pieces.  In good condition for the age. Has a few minor areas with scratches.  They have a few dents in areas but does not take away from the piece.  These pieces came over when the family fled from the Germans in WWII.  They made it to freedom here in the USA.   I did not want to over polish it because of its finish. It looks like it needs a good buffing. Left over old polish is in some of the crevices.  It does not take away from the piece.  I could not find a silver mark only the  zig zag mark that I feel proved hey are silver.  Please look at the pictures for any condition questions. We can help to arrange shipping but buyer is responsible for shipping cost.

Please feel free to make any reasonable offer. Good Luck!
