    Description

    Here is an original US theatrical insert (14" x 36") movie poster for the Columbia Pictures release of William Castle's formulaic thriller The Night Walker (1964). A couple of eerie dream sequences cannot salvage this by-the-numbers Robert Bloch screenplay featuring Barbara Stanwyck as a widow haunted by visions of her husband who died in a fire. Bet you can't guess the ending.  The claims Castle dares you to deny on this insert movie poster are far more frightening than anything in his film. Freaky Reynold Brown illustration is a bit small on this poster due to the ballyhoo but is still effective.
