    Van Briggle Vase
    Twist Rope Ivy Braid 6 Sided Decoration
    Crimped Top
    Ming Blue Mid Century
    Ming Blue, can see the two shades with the darker on top of the accent design.
    4” width at widest points.
    Height is approximately 4-7/8”
    Marked with VB logo, clay number “18” to the right, Van Briggle Colo Spgs. Also has IV glazer mark in ink found on mid century pieces. The style of the ‘8’ in the clay mark is identical to examples seen on other pieces from the 40’s thru the 60’s as well. More information on this can be found on the clemhull website and elsewhere.
    No scratches, cracks or chips, does have wear from handling appropriate to its age. The vase was apparently used as a pen holder as there are numerous ink marks on the inside.
