This is a vintage Hand Thrown Van Briggle Pottery Bowl. It is in the Ming Blue color. It is an Otis Wills Original as marked. It measures about 3 inches tall.
Otis Wills - Uncle of Fred Wills. 1943-1964. Otis Wills is one of the few Van Briggle throwers to also finish pieces. Sometime after 1947, Otis' nephew Fred and Clem Hull taught Otis to throw pottery on the wheel, and after an initial iffy start, Otis kept at it and became quite good.
It is in Excellent Condition - No Chips, No Cracks. A beautiful example of vintage Van Briggle Pottery.
